The study combines domestic violence data from police directorates across Greece with a focused examination of Kavala and perpetrators participating in VIASTOP’s Penal Mediation Programme. It explores offender characteristics, attitudes towards responsibility and the role of intervention in changing behaviour and reducing conflict.
This publication represents an important early evidence base for VIASTOP’s work on perpetrator accountability, behavioural change and intervention within penal mediation.
